Very, very stylish, Margaret! This is overdue, if anything, and I can’t wait for the next post. I love the Flannery O’Connor quote. Channeling that, you can’t go wrong! Katherine

You don’t know me, but I’ve enjoyed reading your blog through the years. We share Sewanee, at least a little bit; I was a freshman in 1979, a Southern Baptist boy there on a National Merit Scholarship, not quite ready for what awaited on The Mountain. I found my way back home to a girl I never married, and have regretted leaving ever since I grew up enough to fully appreciate–and relish–the whole Sewanee Thing.
Anyway, I was speaking with a friend not long ago, and she reminded me that we used to follow your blog together. I excavated some old messages and found one of your pieces, et voila! Looks like you haven’t written–at least here–in some time. I hope you are well and happy, and that someday you’ll come back. Your writing always made me think, and generally left me feeling warm.
Best regards,
Wes
